Q: Will Marble or Granite Countertops increase the value of
my home?

A: Experts say that what ever improvements you do in your kitchen you will get back at the time you sell your home. Plus in real estate, granite is a “Hot Button” with prospective buyers. Over the last few years we have had numerous customers that have had us install granite in their homes just to sell it.

Q: Can you set hot pans on granite?

A: Yes, heat from pans does not effect granite.



Q: What should seams look like?

A: 
Seams should be as tight as touching to 1/16 of an inch at most

Q: Do I have to buy the whole sheet/slab?

A: In most cases no, but for some custom jobs it may be necessary.

Q: How do I clean my stone surfaces ?

A: 
To clean do not use” products that contain lemon, vinegar,
or other acids that may etch the stone.



Q: What’s the difference between marble and granite?

A: 
Granite and marble are very different from each other.
Granite is formed deep in the earth’s mantle at extremely high temperatures, and is a very hard, resistant stone made of crystallized minerals. The marble family starts out as sediment. Because its main component is calcium, marble can be affected by acidic liquids such as vinegar and citrus beverages

Q: Does granite emit dangerous levels of radon gas?

A: 
No, it has been tested and proved false
